The controls are simple enough that you can play with one hand on the bus or while waiting for coffee. Runs are short, so you never feel stuck in a long session. If you mess up, you just start again, and that loop is weirdly addictive. I have put in a few hours just trying to beat my own score and finish the daily challenges.

Compared to other endless runners like Subway Surfers or Temple Run, Ultimate Sackboy feels more charming and less stressful. Subway Surfers has more variety in environments, and Temple Run is faster and more intense, but Ultimate Sackboy wins on personality. The whole handmade world just makes me smile. I also tried Sonic Dash, which is fine, but it feels a bit generic after a while. Ultimate Sackboy has that LittleBigPlanet charm that you do not get anywhere else. I recommend it if you want a casual runner with heart. It is not the deepest game, and the ads can be annoying, but for a free download on Android, it is worth a shot. Just do not expect a full console style adventure. It is a quick fix for fans of the series and anyone who likes cute runners.
